ABOUT ME

With decades of experience in Native American and American art curation,
I create award-winning exhibitions, publish widely, innovate museum practices, steward and build art collections, and champion true collaborative partnerships. I assist clients in creating meaningful art experiences and collections and I am guided by principles of integrity, respect, and belonging.

Curatorial highlights include Hearts of Our People: Native Women Artists, acquiring work by leading artists and placing major private collections in museums, and mentoring emerging Native art curators.

Originally from the farmlands of Pennsylvania, I attended University of
New Mexico where I earned my Ph.D. in Anthropology. My training is based in academia and in relationship with Native people. I currently reside in Excelsior, MN with my two teenagers, two orange tabby cats, and a rescue doggie.
